Bayley is a non-profit retirement and wellness community founded by the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati in 1990. It is located on 23 beautiful rolling acres in Delhi on the west side of Greater Cincinnati.

Home to over three hundred residents and used daily by hundreds of local community seniors, over the years the Bayley staff have completed four development phases that have taken the property from quiet pastureland to a lively, active community.

Residents immediately feel at home from the moment they engage with any member of the Bayley Life team.

History

As a ministry of the Sisters of Charity of Cincinnati, it’s been a blessing that has influenced all we do and have accomplished. Over 1700 families have used our services and resided under our care since we opened our doors in 1990 and the numbers continue to grow.

1990 - 2000

Bayley Opens its Doors
‍Immediately after opening its doors, Bayley reaches 80% occupancy. Soon after, the Memory Support Unit opens, and phase II of construction begins, including the Enrichment Center and the small chapel. During this decade of rapid growth Eldermount Adult Day Program officially joins the Bayley continuum offering daily programs and opportunities for fellowship and socialization.

2000 - 2010

Cultivating Programs & Opportunities
‍After phase III of construction begins, including the groundbreaking for the Village, Bayley Place receives JCAHO accreditation. The Bayley staff diligently maintains high-quality service that quickly led to Eldermount's CARF accreditation. Bayley Place announces construction on the Wellness Center and the Physician Office. The Mother Margaret George Society was established.

2010 - 2020

Continued Dedication to High-Quality Service
‍Bayley Place rebrands to "Bayley" and introduces a new logo that reflects the core values of respect, honesty, and excellence. Bayley introduces the Endowment Fund and celebrates a 5-star Quality Rating and 25 years of service to the Delhi community.

Life In Every Moment
‍Bayley announces the plans to open a second location in Green Township. Construction begins for Bayley at Green Township featuring 80 independent living one- and two-bedroom apartments including fine dining and a fitness center.
